Subject: what I am thankful for

Message: I'm thankful that early last Thursday morning,3am, during an ice storm, a tree and associated limbs came down, through the roof and through the ceiling and missed Judy about a foot. Went almost to the floor. Would have killed her. Needless to say we were startled scared and after another big house-rattling thump we de-assed the area. Fastest I ever got dressed and put on my prosthetic leg and got that wheel chair to the other side of the house. Just got those 2 G5RVs put up and they are trashed again, 3rd time this year. We slept in the living room the next night, stuff was still falling and Judy was too jumpy on every crash. Metal roof stops some but not all. still waiting on insurance adjuster. With all my medical problems since the amputations and tow AFIBs and 6 plus surgeries and the nursing home, I wouldn't have made it with out her. Other than that we are doing OK. yall have a happy holidays as they say down south.
