Subject: Preserving old amateur radio QSL cards (more)

Message: For several years, Bob Green W8JYZ has operated a site dedicated to the preservation of old QSL cards. The site is oldqslcards.com. Through the donations of many hams over the years, he now has scans of over 53,000 old QSL cards on this site. This seems to be a really good alternative to simply recycling them.

You can see a master list of all the QSL cards he has received over the years. Interestingly, I happen to be on that list as are several other county hunters from over the years. (I've also found one of my own cards on eBay in a collection for sale too, but that's something else entirely.) He will oblige any ham who writes to him asking for a scan of his old QSL card(s).

You can find out more about Bob, his site and how to get your old QSL cards to him by going to his QRZ page. You can also write to him using w8jyz@arrl.net for more information.
