Subject: Prayers please!

Message: Lowell was taken by ambulance to the hospital Monday night about 9:00. After many tests, an MRI and blood draws, the diagnosis was a blood clot in the left lung, pneumonia, two large kidney stones and a raging infection. Emergency surgery was performed Tuesday morning about 3a.m. to insert a stent to drain the blockage. I left the hospital at 4:30 a.m., stayed awake until 7:30 so I could call and cancel our eye exams and Lowell’s physical therapy appointment for later that morning. Then I zonked! Woke up at 10 a.m. and returned to the hospital. He is doing much better than Monday night. There will be a follow up surgery to remove the stent and stones after the other problems are solved. It’s always something, isn’t it. — Sandra
