Subject: Rig thoughts

Message: Kerry....I had a 7300 for several years, and was happy with it. I changed to the 7610, basically for the option of having 2 receivers. I've been mostly happy being an 'Icom' ham for the past 10 years or so. Only problem I've had is with 7610 multi button (never had the issue with the 7300). Not sure where the 7300 MkII comes into the discussion. One thing I have noticed with all the Icom gear I've used....it's very intolerant of changes to the supply voltage. If it dips below 13 volts, the rig reboots. I've had this issue since the 703. but not really an issue, if you're using as a base rig. anyway, my 2 pennies.
