Message: The Regional Planning Organizations have changed a few times in the past. As recently as 2013, there were 13 districts, and in 2012 there were 15. And the Greater Bridgeport area was known as Metropolitan just a few years ago. Perhaps things will become more stable now that the US Census people made them county equivalents, but it looks like it is pretty easy for a town to decide to leave one planning district and join another. At this point, I think the New England QSO Party is the only time that these districts are used for ham radio purposes.
