Message: The actual W6RK website does not contain mode information. Logger uses the frequency band plan for ham bands to attempt to identify the operating mode of the spotted contact. For years, Logger only distinguished between CW and SSB. KC3X asked for Logger to identify FT8 and FT4 modes based on frequency. This capability was added in in V/.10.11.
During testing of the software upgrade V2.11.10, I had to trick the Logger's W6RK display into using a frequency other than the actual frequency. Unfortunately, I left the debugging trick which forced all frequencies to be displayed as 7194. This error was reported to me by KA9JAC. The debug trick was removed in version V.2.11.11.
If you have not already done, stop Logger now and restart. Logger will suggest to download a new version, which you should.
BTW, I created s dummy spot with a frequency of 14074. You will see that the mode is set to FT8 demonstrating the new capability.
